Oh, and there's more: This week's edition of Anders And & Co. also brings the first issue of Stålanden Reloaded, meaning that a new generation of kids who CAN'T afford the hardcover version will get to enjoy it too. Next week's issue will bring another issue. So check those out too. And let's see if we can convince them to keep going.
Personally I'll probably end up buying both these and the hardcover. Man, this is fun.

PKNA #29, a bonus story - and German comics
Potentially very exciting news for German readers: The new Lustiges Taschenbuch Premium is out - and it collects the first four issues of PKNA along with a few bonus stories, some of which have never been published in German before!
Now, how awesome would it be to have an official German translation of the PKNA series? I know the series was originally cancelled after issue #12, but if there's enough interest in these premium books, Germany might actually see the series continue past that point. They might even finally do the whole series!
So if you're German, hurry out and buy this thing! Let's show Disney that there's a market for our favorite series in Germany, and that there's good reason to continue the series past this first book.
Heck, if Germany starts selling PKNA again, it might spread to other countries as well. And I know of quite a few European countries where the fans were disappointed when the series ended too soon.

Also, here's a little treat that a fan drew my attention to: The Secret Origin of the Duck Avenger - not the avenger we know, but one that was made as an attempt to introduce the character to American audiences.
As a fan of the Duck Avenger, the first thing you'll probably notice is that everything is just incredibly, horribly wrong. Donald is called on by his uncle Ludvig von Drake to battle the evil Zondarrians who have stolen the Universal Code from Earth... It's all pretty silly.
But it's interesting to read, and I've actually been looking for these comics for years, after having read the first part as a child. So a huge thanks to the anonymous poster for bringing it to my attention.
Actually - and I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this - these entirely silly comics are probably the main reason this site is called "PKNA - Adventures of the Duck Avenger" rather than "PKNA - Adventures of Superduck". Disney has changed the official name of the character several times, so it was hard to determine what was the proper translation when we started out.
I preferred the sound of The Duck Avenger, so that's what I went with. Looking back, I actually suspect that this American mini-comic is the only time Paperinik was actually called by the Duck Avenger name in an official Disney comic. Since then, Disney seems to have settled on calling him Superduck.
Still, we're more than 30 comics in now, so it seems a bit late to change the name of the main character. Calling him Superduck at this stage would just seem weird (to me, at least). Plus, I just plain like the Duck Avenger name. So I think we'll keep it.
Even if the comic it came from IS hilariously silly. Remember to check it out, by the way. :)

(Feel completely free to just ignore the end pages of MMMM, by the way. Apparently someone at Disney decided that the whole series was just TOO bad-ass, and some silly "Oh-wait-it's just-a-film"-framing device was added. Far as I can tell, the story still works perfectly well if you just ignore the final pages and assume that everything is really happening, so that's what I'M gonna do.)
Also, Aspargus32 is getting back to translating bonus stories, so we'll probably see a lot more of those soon, too. Cool, isn't it?
Which reminds me, are there any Italian speakers out there who might be interested in translating some of the bonus content we tend to skip, but which is actually really awesome? We used to do bonus content in blog post-format - like this, this, or this - but only for issues #6-#11.

Unfortunately MegaUpload has been taken down (the entire site!), so we're down to our MediaFire links now. I'll probably set up some mirrors soon, just in case, but for now this is what we have.
I have a request for anyone who'll help me, though: We're missing issues #0-#11 because they were only hosted on MegaUpload. The files are still somewhere on my computer, but it'll take me a while to find them and make sure it's actually the final version. My back-up file-keeping isn't particularly organized.
So if you happen to have downloaded some or all of these issues from the site and have them readily available, could you upload them on MediaFire and post a link in the comments? I'd appreciate the help very much.

Big thanks to Banker for continuing to be awesome, and to Aspargus32 for doing the back-up feature. We're still missing back-up features on a lot of the previous issues, so if anyone out there feels like taking them on, I know lots of people will appreciate it.
Also, it only just occurred to me that most of the recent uploads have been CBR-files, and some people might have had trouble opening them. CBR is a format made specifically for reading comics on the computer, and there are are a number of free programs you can use to read them. Me, I use Comical, but I'm sure somebody in the comments can probably make a good argument for any number of the other options.
If you don't want to use any new software, CBR-files can be easily converted to RAR-files, simply by changing the name of the file extension - so you can just change "PKNA19.cbr" to "PKNA19.rar" and it will work.
I'll probably make some RAR-file mirrors one of these days, just to avoid confusion.
